Small Earthquake Recorded Near Cromwell

CROMWELL, Oklahoma -

A small earthquake was recorded near Cromwell, Oklahoma, early Saturday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 3:05 a.m. Saturday. Its epicenter is located three miles north, northeast of Cromwell, four miles northwest of Bearden, seven miles south, southwest of Castle, and 59 miles south, southwest of Tulsa.

It was about 2 miles deep.

No injuries or damage were reported in this earthquake.
