TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa Police will be cracking down on speeding drivers this week.  Starting Monday, they'll be looking for drivers going way too fast in construction zones.

Police say 13 people died last year in Oklahoma construction zones and nearly 800 were injured.

Officers won't be handing out any warnings over the next few days.

Tickets range anywhere from $150 to $500 and 10 days in jail.

Muskogee Police are also starting a week-long focus on safety.

Officers there are stopping drivers at several locations in Muskogee to check for seatbelts, driver's licenses and insurance verification.
