A Texas court has stopped construction on the controversial Keystone XL pipeline.

The pipeline would cross Oklahoma and other Midwestern states as it delivers tar sands oil from Canada to the Texas Gulf Coast.

A Texas landowner says tar sands oil is not the same as crude oil, so Transcanada lied to get his land.

The judge's ruling puts the project on hold until another hearing next week.
