Small Earthquake Recorded Near Castle Tuesday Night

A small earthquake was recorded near Castle, Oklahoma, Tuesday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter is located seven miles northeast of Castle, eight miles north of Okemah, and 45 miles south, southwest of Tulsa.

It was about eight miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported in this earthquake.
