Abandoned Tulsa Home Damaged By Fire

Tulsa Fire was dispatched to a house fire in the 500 block of North Cheyenne Monday morning.

Firefighters arrived just before 10:30 a.m. and began fighting the fire in the two-story home which at one time had been converted to an 8-unit apartment building but now was abandoned. 

The fire had spread throughout the entire building before firefighters were able to knock the blaze down.

Firefighters say no one was injured. 

While the building was abandoned, fire officials suspect homeless people may have been living in the home.
