Tulsa Street To Re-Open Following Water Main Break

The City of Tulsa expects to re-open a stretch of East 61st Street between Memorial Drive and Mingo by Tuesday evening's rush hour.

The road was closed Monday morning when a 48-inch water main broke at 92nd East Avenue, flooding the neighborhood.

Officials says while most of the street will be two lanes in each direction, a portion near the site of the break, between 90th East Avenue and 92nd East Avenue, will be one lane in each direction.

City crews continue to repair the water main.
