The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering its maximum legal reward in the search for the killers of Jack and Elaine Denney.

The couple was found shot to death inside their rural Cherokee County home on Christmas Day of 2007.

Anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for their death can receive a reward of $10,000, according to Jessica Brown of the OSBI.

"Agents have followed dozens of leads in the past years," Brown said, "but investigators need the public's help to develop new leads. We believe someone who lives in the area may have information that could help agents solve this case."

The OSBI hotline is 1-800-522-8017. The phone line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
