James Woodard scored all 18 of his points in the second half to lead the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (7-5) to a comeback win over cross-town rival Oral Roberts.

ORU (5-6) dominated play in the first half, grabbing a 38-25 lead at the break. Woodard's first half was similar to that of many of his teammates, finishing 0-4 from the field with three turnovers as TU squandered one possession after another.

But Tulsa, led by Woodard, responded. Down by as many as 17, The Golden Hurricane used two 9-0 runs to close the gap, led by Woodard's 7-10 shooting and zero turnovers.

Scottie Haralson added 12 for the Hurricane while freshman Rashad Ray scored 11 off the bench.

ORU was led by Warren Niles' 24 while Damien Bell-Holter's scored 18 points and grabbed nine boards. Shawn Glover added 17 for the Golden Eagles.

TU shot 53 percent from the floor, while ORU managed just 36 percent. The Hurricane also out-rebounded ORU 36-27 and held the assist advantage 16-7.

Next up for Oral Roberts is a trip to Memphis on Dec. 28, while Tulsa takes a trip to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to play the Florida State Seminoles on Dec. 29.
