TULSA, Oklahoma -

A section of Interstate 244 that's been closed for months is back open Monday evening.

Drivers going eastbound can now stay on I-244 to connect to Interstate 44.

The section of road around 129th East Avenue had been closed since early October so workers could repave the road and rebuild a bridge.

Only one lane is open for now, but no lanes were expected to be open until mid-January.
