The Cowgirls' dominance in the paint led to a huge advantage at the free-throw line, where OSU went 24-of-26. SDSU went to the line just 15 times, hitting only eight attempts.

SDSU kept the game close in the first half, shooting 51.7 percent from the field with four three-pointers finding the mark. OSU struggled to shoot the ball well, led 38-34 at the break thanks to a 14-of-14 performance at the charity stripe.

The Cowgirls extended their lead in the second half, going up by as many as 12, and never allowing SDSU to get closer than six until the final minute.

OSU opens conference play Wednesday night against Texas Tech. Tip time from Stillwater is set for 7 p.m.
