Learning doesn't stop for Tulsa area students, despite the holiday break.

A small group of middle and high school students are taking part in the Tulsa Tinkering School at Fab Lab Tulsa.

Photojournalist Todd Ruffin has more on their mission to turn deconstructed appliances into moving sculptures in the video above.

Students from Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, and Tulsa all took part in Thursday's hands-on opportunity.

Their finished creations will be on display Friday.
