TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police say two people who were driving under the influence caused two crashes on 51st Street in Tulsa within hours of each other.

The first crash occurred just after 9 p.m. Thursday at the entrance to the Monaco Park Apartments at 51st and 72nd East Avenue.

Tulsa Police say a car hit the entrance to the complex then a light pole and some yard ornaments, knocking bricks and a windmill into a parked van.

Police believe the driver was intoxicated.

Just before midnight, a car traveling on 51st Street struck a utility pole and broke a water line for the Farm Shopping Center irrigation system.

The driver was waiting on police when they arrived. EMSA took the driver to the hospital. There is no word on her condition.

Tulsa Police say it appeared the woman was under the influence of some drug at the time of the crash.
