Silver Alert Canceled For Johnston County Man

The Johnston County Sheriff's Department has canceled a silver alert for an elderly man.

Police have found 84-year-old Melvin Pidgue safe and unharmed.  Pidgue was last seen at Mercy Memorial in Tishomingo early Monday morning, January 7.

Pidgue is wearing a black jacket, jeans and a baseball cap. He was last seen in a gray 2000 Toyota Pickup with a toolbox. The tag number is 375ARX.
