Former Lincoln Christian School All-State quarterback Cale Grauer has committed to Oklahoma Baptist University.

Grauer, a 6-3, 205-pound sophomore, attended Missouri Western and begins classes at OBU this spring.

At Lincoln Christian, Grauer threw for 2702 yards his senior season with 33 touchdowns against eight interceptions under Coach Darren Melton. He was 182 of 290. Grauer led the team to a 2009 State Championship and was Vype Magazine First-Team All-State and Tulsa World All-State honorable mention.

Grauer comes to OBU from an athletic family. His father, Scott, played football at Baker University and his older brother, Blake, played at Amherst College.

Grauer was recruited by Central Missouri, Missouri State and North Texas. He is coming to OBU "because it is a great place and an opportunity to start a winning tradition at a Christian school."

The son of Scott and Tammy Grauer of Claremore, Cale is a business administration major.
