Amazon Gives Kindles To Coffeyville, Kansas Elementary School

COFFEYVILLE, Kansas -

Amazon donated 50 Kindles to the students, faculty and staff of the Community Elementary School in Coffeyville, Kansas Monday morning.

The event at the school at 102 South Cline featured comments from Dr. Craig Correll, Assistant Superintendent of Coffeyville School District and George Schultz, General Manager of Amazon's Coffeyville center.

After the comments, students had the opportunity to check out the new Kindles.

Amazon also donated $2,500 in gift cards for a total value of more than $10,000.
