After guiding Oklahoma City to a 3-1 record last week, All-Star forward Kevin Durant was named the Western Conference player of the week for games played from Jan. 7-13.

Durant scored more than 25 points in all four contests, highlighted by a season-best 42-point outing in the Thunder's 116-101 victory against the Lakers on Friday. KD averaged 32.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

The 32.5 points was a league high for the NBA's three-time defending scoring champion.

Milwaukee guard Brandon Jennings was named the Eastern Conference player of the week after leading the Bucks to a 3-1 record, as well. He was second in the East in scoring at 24.5 points per game and shot 48 percent from the floor. He also averaged 6.5 assists and 4 rebounds.
