Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Rashaun Woods will be the next head football coach at John Marshall High School.

Oklahoma City Public Schools announced Tuesday Woods will be the Bears next football coach. He replaces Bruce Troxell who resigned after six years at the head of the program.

Woods has spent the last five years working as an assistant coach at Star Spencer and his alma mater, Millwood.

Woods played at OSU in the early ‘00s. He was drafted in 2004 in the first round draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He also spent time in the Canadian Football League. His younger brother D'Juan and Donovan were also standouts for the Cowboys.
