Hulah Water District No. 20 Enacts Voluntary Boil Order

OSAGE COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Hulah Water District No. 20 in Osage County has announced a voluntary boil order until further notice.

Customers affected include those in Bowring, Oak Ridge, Whip-poor-Will and east of Hulah Dam.

According to district chairwoman Sharon Lockman, the order was issued after the plant went down with a computer glitch, causing the tank to go low. The order was issued so tanks can refill.

Lockman said the order does not affect the Bartlesville water plant or its residents.
