Oklahoma City police arrested a 16 year old accused of trying to rob a bank branch located inside John Marshall High School.

Witnesses told police Rayqwonn Chatman walked up to the counter of the Tinker Federal Credit Union inside the school around 11 a.m. on January 18. The teller said Chatman had his hands inside the pockets of his hooded jacket.

The teller said Chatman raised his right hand while it was still in his pocket, making it appear as if he had a gun. She said he then stated, "Give me some money."

The teller told Chatman he could be in a lot of trouble for doing this. A witness standing behind Chatman told him he should leave, but Chatman refused and continued to stand at the counter. The teller said although she wasn't sure if Chatman really had a gun, she refused to give him any money.

Chatman eventually left, and the teller called police.

Police located Chatman in the school gym and took him into custody. He was booked into the Oklahoma County jail for attempted armed robbery of a bank.
