10-Year-Old Okmulgee Girl Flown To Tulsa Hospital After Dog Bite

A 10-year-old Okmulgee girl was flown to a Tulsa hospital after she was bitten by a dog.

The Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office said it happened Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies tell us the dog's owner had already captured the dog and restrained it.

The dog is now under quarantine with a licensed veterinarian.

Deputies described the girl's injuries as "extensive."
