Trials in the death of a Dewey toddler went forward Friday. Three people are on trial for the death of Emma Beth Warmberodt.

She had trauma to the chest, multiple bruises to her head, and no pulse when paramedics were called to her home on February 24, 2012. Police say the little girl had been dead for some time and believe she'd suffered three days worth of abuse leading up to her death.

Court records show Marcus Mitchell, the child's stepfather, admitted to hitting Emma Beth.

Her mother, Ashley Mitchell, entered a blind plea of guilty in court Friday to charges of child neglect and enabling child abuse.
