STILLWATER, Oklahoma -

An OSU Journalism Professor is questioning how the university has handled a Peeping Tom investigation the alleged victim says involves a Cowboy football player.

Dr. Joey Senat teaches Media Law at OSU. He has issues with a police report the university's communications department, not the police department, released to the media Thursday.

The report lists the name, address, and phone number of the 19-year-old OSU student who filed the complaint.

She says her ex-boyfriend, who she says was a freshman on OSU's football team last fall, secretly videotaped them having sex four months ago.

She tells News 9 her ex has been showing that video to friends and bragging about it. She says she's seen the video.

Senat says a Federal Privacy Law forbids the University from releasing the woman's name. He says the fact the suspect's name was blacked out is also a red flag.

"That raises the question that they are playing favorites," he said.

The University countered Friday night that since this was not a sexual assault or a violent incident, the reporting party should be made public.

The communications department also said the suspect's name was blacked out because it's "an ongoing investigation."
