TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Tulsa mother will be laid to rest this week.

Linda Laird's funeral is set for Tuesday afternoon at Floral Haven. She was found dead in her home last Tuesday.

Homicide detectives say her 17-year-old son, Hank, beat her to death. Hank Laird was taken into custody the next day and charged with first degree murder.

His friend, 19-year-old Josiah Sklar, was also arrested on a complaint of first degree murder.

Police say Sklar witnessed the attack.
