Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe Votes 'No' To John Kerry Confirmation

WASHINGTON -

Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe was one of three no votes cast Tuesday, refusing to confirm fellow Senator John Kerry as the next Secretary of State.

Inhofe called Kerry a friend, but said he was bad for U.S. foreign policy.

Both Senators from Texas also voted no, but Kerry had no problem getting the votes needed for confirmation, passing 94 to three.
