Two people charged in the death of a toddler in a fire investigators said was caused by a meth lab pleaded guilty and were sentenced Friday.

Jennifer Jennings, 27, and Jacob Bell, 36, both waived their right to a jury trial last week.

Jennings and Bell, along with Jeffrey McBride, 48, who was acquitted of all charges last week, were accused of leaving 15-month-old Ayden Jennings to die in a meth lab fire in November 2011.

Jennings pleaded guilty Friday to child neglect and was sentenced to 20 years. Her charges of felony murder, arson, and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance were all dismissed.

Bell pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of second degree murder and child neglect. He was sentenced to a total of 30 years in prison for both charges. He had also been charged with arson and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance. Both of those charges were dismissed.
