Hot In Cleveland: Cavs Win High-Scoring Shootout Over Thunder

This game was up for grabs throughout, but Cleveland made more plays down the stretch. <br />

Five Cavaliers scored in double-figures Saturday night as Cleveland, the owner of the NBA's third-worst record, defeated the Thunder, the owner of the league's second-best mark, 115-110. 

Cleveland (14-34) was led by Kyrie Irving's 35 points on 12-25 shooting, but got some unexpected contributions off the bench.  Marreese Speights scored 21 points on 10-15 shooting while also grabbing 10 rebounds.  Speights was recently acquired in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies.   C.J. Miles also had a big day off the Cavs' bench, hitting four 3-pointers en route to a 16-point night.  

Kevin Durant led the way for OKC with 32 points and 11 rebounds but hit just 8-21 from the floor.  Russell Westbrook added 28 points on 12-22 shooting while Serge Ibaka chipped in 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks.  

OKC (35-12) led 57-52 at the half and took a two-point lead into the fourth quarter, but Cleveland exploded for 39 points in the game's final stanza.  The Cavs shot 47.8 percent from the floor and 9-18 from 3-point range.  They also shot an impressive 20-23 from the free-throw line.  Dion Waiters chipped in 12 points, six rebounds and six assists for Cleveland while Tristan Thompson had 11 points and 12 boards.  

The Thunder shot it well too, hitting 49.4 percent from the field including seven 3-pointers.  OKC hit 21-26 from the charity stripe.  Kevin Martin led the Thunder bench with 15 points on 6-13 shooting. 

Oklahoma City returns home to host the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, Feb. 4.
