Ex-Skiatook Superintendent Sentenced To 1 Year In Federal Prison

Gary Johnson, who pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges in October, was ordered to spend one year in prison.

The former superintendent of Skiatook Public Schools was sentenced on Thursday.

Gary Johnson, who pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges in October, was ordered to spend one year in federal prison.

Court records show Johnson along with his friend, Rick Enos, pocketed more than half a million dollars from Skiatook Schools and then Johnson lied about it on his federal income tax returns.

Johnson must also pay more than $200,000 in restitution.
