Charlton Jones of Oklahoma City University became a CoSIDA college-division academic all-district 7 selection.

The College Sports Information Directors of America choose the academic all-American team based on the athletes' GPAs and success in competition. Jones became an honorable-mention all-SAC performer while averaging 13.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 1.63 steals a game as a junior.

The Stars (12-9, 5-8 SAC) faces St. Gregory's at 5 p.m. Saturday at Abe Lemons Arena in OCU's final home game of the season.
