Bill Bedenbaugh has reportedly been hired as Oklahoma's new offensive line coach.

West Virginia's athletic director Oliver Luck told the Charleston Gazette Thursday that Bedenbaugh had accepted the position.

Bedenbaugh has been at West Virginia for two seasons coaching the offensive line. Before that he spent seven seasons at Texas Tech coaching under Mike Leach. He also spent time in Arizona where he coached with OU defensive line coach Mike Stoops.

Bedenbaugh has a reputation to be a strong recruiter. He was recently named one of the nation's top 50 recruiters by 247Sports.com.

Bedenbaugh has ties to Oklahoma. He began his coaching career in 1995 at Oklahoma Panhandle State in Goodwell. His wife is also a graduate of Oklahoma State. His parents still live in Tahlequah.
