Teenaged Twins Charged, 1 Arrested For Tulsa-Area Slingshot Vandalism Spree
TULSA, Oklahoma -
Two 18-year-olds are facing charges after police say they went on a vandalism spree with another known juvenile in Tulsa and Broken Arrow neighborhoods over New Year's weekend. One of them was arrested Friday.
Dalton and Dylan Moody - presumably twin brothers, as court records show they have the same birthday - are both charged with 15 counts of malicious injury to property. Court records show, for five of those counts, damage amounted to $1,000 or more.
According to the charges filed Monday, both men and the juvenile used a slingshot to shoot out the windows of dozens of cars in Tulsa and Broken Arrow, over December 30 - 31, 2012.
Arrest warrants were issued for both men Monday, but Tulsa County jail records show only Dylan Moody has been arrested.
Dylan Moody was arrested Friday evening and is being held in lieu of $30,000 bond.
