"I was real excited when I looked out the window and saw there was snow this morning," Matt Chapmond said. "I think it's pretty awesome."

For 20-month old Gavin, it's the first time he's even seen snow, much less tried to balance in it.

"He's doing pretty good, a little cautious but he's doing good," Cori Chapmond said.

The snowfall may have been short in duration, but it made up for it in substance and it was easy to pack when building a snowman.

For those of heading to Stillwater for the big basketball game against Kansas tonight, the Oklahoma Turnpike authority said it will have around 10 trucks on the turnpike all day, and since the weather moved out quickly, it doesn't expect any problems.
