All Lanes Of Interstate 244 Reopened

Tulsa drivers who take Interstate 244 have surely noticed the good news.

All lanes of eastbound and westbound I-244 are now open between the Interstate 44 split to Memorial Drive.

That stretch of road had been a highway headache for a year.

All the pavement, as well as six bridge decks, were replaced as part of the $35 million project.

Drivers will still see some orange barrels, though.

The northbound U.S. Highway 169 ramp to westbound I-244 is down to one lane, and the southbound Highway 169 off-ramp to eastbound I-244 is still closed.
