OU, OSU Closing Campuses Early Due To Winter Storm

Both the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University have canceled afternoon classes on their main campuses in advance of a blizzard now moving into the state.

The University of Oklahoma says its Norman campus closed Monday afternoon.  OU President David Boren issued a statement Monday morning saying, "Because of the expected winter storm, the OU Norman campus will close today, Monday, at 1:30 p.m."

OSU's Stillwater campus closed at 12:30 p.m.  Oklahoma State University says a decision about Tuesday's schedule will be announced later Monday.
