The one-time Tulsa Paper Company Warehouse has become a center for art and art education. It now houses the Henry Zarrow Center: three floors of Art and education space operated by the University of Tulsa and the Gilcrease.

Cindy Williams is the program manager.

First floor is gallery space. Currently its's an exhibit by TU art faculty.

"We try to change it out every two months," Williams said.

We came over because we'd heard when the renovation was done they'd saved some of the graffiti that had accumulated on interior walls.

The second floor houses the education studios: four big studios where they hold after school classes, vacation camps and outreach programs. In fact, they are set up for a group of 60 fourth graders.

Third floor is studio space for grad students. Natalie Slater is working on her final project. The theme is Route 66.

Now onto the graffiti. There's some in the third floor restrooms and in the stairwell. The point is they kept it - it's art after all.

The Brady Art Crawl is a special event held every first Friday of the month. Galleries in the Brady Arts District are open from 6 to 9 p.m.
