Crystal City Shopping Center Sold At Auction

The original home of Tulsa's "Zingo" roller-coaster has a new owner.

West Tulsa's Crystal City shopping center was auctioned off Wednesday.

The winning bid came from an out-of-state buyer, who's told City Councilor Jeannie Cue he'd like nothing more than to revitalize the landmark Route 66 location.

"We miss so many people that travel through here and we want them to stop, eat at our restaurants, spend the night, and get to see how great Tulsa is," Cue said.

A top priority would be attracting a grocery store back to the area.
