OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police say a body was found inside a burning car in northwest Oklahoma City early Saturday morning.

Just before 6 a.m., officers responded to the report of a car crash in the 5300 block of Willow Cliff Road. When they arrived at the scene, they saw a vehicle on fire and found a body inside.

The caller told police the car had crashed into "something." However, officers say they do not know what the car had hit, because there were no other damaged cars or buildings in the area.

Police are calling the car fire suspicious. They said they are not investigating the case as a homicide at this point.

No suspect information is available at this time.
