Kendra Suttles scored 18 points as Oklahoma State overcame a gritty Texas Longhorns team, 64-58, on Senior Day in Stillwater.
Suttles' free throws with 4:32 remaining in the game put the Cowgirls ahead for good as OSU rebounded from Wednesday's loss against Texas Tech.
Liz Donohoe and Tiffany Bias each scored 13 points for Oklahoma State while Toni Young scored 11 points.
Nneka Enemkpali had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Longhorns. Imani McGee-Stafford chipped in 15 points for Texas.
Oklahoma State managed to overcome a horrible shooting day with solid defense. The Cowgirls shot just 37.3 percent from the field but forced 19 Texas turnovers which led to 23 points. The Longhorns shot 42 percent for the game.
Texas held a lead through much of the first half and led 30-25 at the break. In the second half, OSU used a 12-3 run to take a 39-38 lead with 10:38 remaining, setting off a back-and-forth affair for the next seven minutes before Suttles put OSU ahead to stay.
Oklahoma State closes the season on the road against Iowa State Monday night at 7 p.m.
