$1.25 Million Construction Project Starting At 51st And Garnett

Construction begins this week to re-do the intersection of 51st and Garnett.

Crews are already doing prep work for the $1.25 million project, which begins on Wednesday.

Traffic will be down to one lane in each direction through the intersection until the work is finished sometime in August.

Money from the 2008 Third Penny Sales Tax is paying for the project.
