The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City Police chased a suspect across the metro at speeds up to 120 mph before the man finally crashed on Interstate 35 in Norman.

The chase started just before midnight Tuesday near Britton and Wilshire when police tried to pull over a man for a traffic violation. The suspect refused to stop and sped through Oklahoma City, Del City and Moore.

Police put out stop sticks several times, but the driver ran over them and kept going until a trooper bumped his car. The suspect lost control and hit a concrete barrier on I-35 near Main Street in Norman.

The suspect received minor injuries. No law enforcement officers were hurt.

The man was arrested. Police say the suspect likely tried to escape because he had two warrants out for his arrest. Police also found marijuana on the suspect.
