Smoke From Controlled Burn In Muskogee County Drifts Over Tulsa Area

TULSA, Oklahoma -

A smoky haze covered most of the Tulsa area overnight.

Authorities say the smoke was from a controlled burn on land near Camp Gruber in Muskogee County.

Officials say the fire ignited hay bales and southerly winds caused the smoke to drift northwest into the Tulsa area.

No homes are threatened by the fire.
