Police will be patrolling the halls of Cushing Public Schools Monday after the district received two anonymous threats.
Cushing Police said the first threat was received Friday afternoon. Police officers, Payne County deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers beefed up their presence at schools that day, but said students were not in danger.
A second threat was made Sunday, and police decided to once again increase security on Monday.
The district is not releasing any details about the threats. Some parents have posted messages on Facebook, saying they're frustrated about the lack of information. Some of them also plan to keep their children home from school Monday.
