Weston Hall hit an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning to lift Texas to a 4-3 win over Oral Roberts at Disch-Falk Field in Austin Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles had a chance to tie in the top of the ninth, but Corey Knebel struck out the side for the save.

Oral Roberts had tied the score at three in the top of the eighth inning on a two-run triple from Tyler Boss that scored Graham McIntyre and Logan Domenico.

The Golden Eagles have now dropped six straight games, sinking their record to 5-10 in the process.

Boss finished the game with two triples and drove in all three runs for the Golden Eagles. McIntryre added two hits, while Domenico, Chris Williams and Brandon Healy each recorded singles.

The Golden Eagles are back in action this weekend, starting a three-game series with No. 13 Cal State Fullerton on Friday night at home.
