Rogers County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating the death of a cow found shot Thursday in a pasture northwest of Chelsea.

The owner called deputies after finding the cow, which was still alive at the time. Deputies say the cow was pregnant and with the help of a local veterinarian, they were able to save the life of the calf, but the cow had to be put down.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Rogers County Sheriff's Office Tipline at 918-341-3620.
