Man Found Shot At OKC Gun Range Dies At Hospital

A man, who was critically injured following a shooting at an Oklahoma City gun range Monday afternoon, has died at the hospital.

A man, who was critically injured following a shooting at an Oklahoma City gun range Monday afternoon, has died at the hospital.

Oklahoma City police officers and firefighters responded to the report of the shooting at H&H Shooting Sports, located at 400 S. Vermont Avenue in Oklahoma City.

According to police, the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head in one of the stalls at the gun range. He was transported to the OU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

H&H Shooting Sports released a statement on its Facebook page Monday night, saying the shooting appeared to be a suicide.

"We are incredibly heartbroken from the events of earlier today. We can say this isolated incident appears to be a suicide. We are cooperating fully with OKCPD. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those affected by his actions. We will make further statements as more knowledge comes to light."

Oklahoma City police's homicide unit has been called to investigate the scene. The victim's identity has not been released.
