A body was found Thursday morning in a Shawnee home.
SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -
Police say the daughter of a Tecumseh couple who was murdered by escaped prison inmates, was found dead Thursday morning in her Shawnee home. Police have arrested her husband for the crime.
Cathy Byus' body was found in her home on Buena Vista Lane. Police are calling her death a domestic-related homicide, but they are not saying how she died. They have arrested her husband, Justin Byus.
Cathy Byus was the daughter of Gary and Linda Haas. The two were driving across the country in August 2010 when they were murdered in New Mexico by escaped prison inmates from Arizona. Their bodies were found in a burned camper.
