Small Earthquake Recorded Near Boley

A 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Boley,Oklahoma, just after midnight Saturday.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of this earthquake was located about eight miles south of Boley, 23 miles east of Shawnee, and 57 miles east of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage have been reported.
