Early Morning Tulsa Wreck Damages Car, Traffic Signal

Repairs were needed to a traffic signal and street lighting signage after a non-injury wreck early Sunday morning. Police say it appears the male driver of a Honda sedan may have lost consciousness due to lack of sleep or medication when he hit the signal pole.

The driver had been traveling northbound on Memorial at 81st Street just before 4:30 a.m. when he crashed. Neither the driver nor his passenger were hurt, according to police.

The Honda was badly damaged.
