Sequoyah County Store Clerk Locked In Cooler During Robbery

GANS, Oklahoma -

Sequoyah County authorities are looking for a man who robbed a clerk at the Git-N-Go store in Gans Sunday evening.

Sheriff Ron Lockhart says a middle-aged white male, 5'10", 200 pounds, wearing a ski mask and having dirty hands walked into the store at about 9:45 p.m., locked the female clerk in the store's walk-in cooler and then stole money from the cash register.

The store is located on state Highway 64 in Gans.

The clerk was not injured.
