OKLAHOMA CITY -

Two children are hospitalized Thursday morning, both in critical condition, after they were burned in a house fire near S.W. 59th Street and Western.

The fire started in the back of the home in the 5900 block of S. Francis Avenue just after 10 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters say four people were in the house at the time, two adults and two children.

The two children received serious burns on large portions of their bodies. One adult was also burned. The children were rushed to Children's Hospital, where they are in critical condition; the adult's condition is unknown. Their names have not been released.

The fire caused extensive damage the house.
