A Good Samaritan jumped into action after a woman crashed her SUV in a frigid lake in Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, at about 5:30 p.m., the woman crashed her SUV into a lake near N.W. 150th and Santa Fe.
Scott Suchak says he heard someone screaming for help and saw a man coming out of the water. The man said his girlfriend was still in the car.
"Shortly before we got to the vicinity, she came up to the surface. We were able to get a life jacket on her get a rope around her, get her pulled into the boat and then we just paddled back to the shore about the same time the EMT showed up," Suchak said.
Suchak grabbed a rope and some life jackets, jumped in a boat, and pulled the woman to shore.
